Kevin the chipmunk robs a bank or something like a bank. (He is wearing a chipmunk head.)
Neil and Tyra. ARGH. He fires her, she rolls her eyes. (What a terrible actress.)
Victor tells Ashley about Adam's eyesight problems.
Nikki talks to Victoria about how hard it is to see Marge, about Ashley's pregnancy, that it doesn't really bother Niiki as much as it does Victoria. Victoria has her own theory about how Victor is using Ashley.
Victor questions Adam's truthfulness regarding his sight. Ashley wonders too.
Back to Amber, Daniel and Kay in filler at CL. Can she help Daniel and Amber figure out where Kevin is? No.
Jana is freaking out, wants her husband back. Good Jana scene. Daniel tries to calm her down and encourage her. He's positive that Kevin is alive.
Ugh. Clint is pleased that Kevin did so well at the robbery that he can have a second helping of mac and cheese tonight. (Does this get any stupider?)
Devon at Karen's office looking for Neil, asks Karen if everything is okay with her and his dad, he senses this vibe. Nope, all okay. Tyra. Ugh. Just ugh. More ugh. Bloody idiot Neil. Such bad writing here, so out of character for Neil.
Victoria and Nikki continue their conversation about Victor, the baby, the way she treated Sabrina, the uselessness of trying to figure out what's best for Victor since he never takes advice anyway.
Victor visits blind Adam, asks if he's faking it. "Just leave me alone" says Adam, and Victor assumes it's because Adam is afraid Victor will find out he's faking blindness. V brought an opthamologist with him to examine Adam, determine fake or real. Ugh.
Shelly, there was a big helicopter crash off the coast of Newfoundland this morning and the news coverage of it has broken into Y&R. I don't know how long this is going to last, if they are going to broadcast the whole show or what. It was a Husky Oil Cougar helicopter taking 18 men to an oil rig for a work shift. If necessary, I'll watch the 3 p.m. airing from New Brunswick and fill in the blanks, but today's soap is kind of annoying the heck out of me. It is, so far, a day to skip, unless, of course, you LIKE getting annoyed, lol. :)
Jana recognises Kevin's scarf on the chipmunk video Daniel showed her on his computer. The robbery was at a cheque-cashing place in Minnesota. Clint yells at Kevin, Kevin shoves him, Clint looks stunned. ugh
Amber takes Katherine to the diner to see Murphy and Pearl. Nice twinkly eyed Murphy.
Kevin acts all tough guy to Clint. Clint calls him a piss ant, Kevin backs down.
Neil and Tyra. She wants to know if he still planning on adopting Anna. Yes, and Tyra says that's good, but what's she supposed to tell Anna about her not working there and not hanging around the Winters' house all the time. Ugh.
LOL Nikki hugs Ashley to congratulate her about the baby. Surprised Ashley, lol.
The eye doctor proclaims that Adam has indeed got eye problems, something something pigmentosa, same as his mother had says Victor.
Nice scene of Kay and Murphy as she promises to take care of him financially and he says he never wanted her money, just the pleasure of her company.
Adam and Victor try to make sense out of this latest curve, the blindness. Victor feels terrible about this. Adam worries about his survival.
THE END news conference about the helicopter crash has cut off Y&R for good from this channel. I'll watch the 3 p.m. airing, add if necessary.
On geez. Devon catches Neil and Tyra going at it hot and heavy. He sees quite enough then leaves the club. Tyra had her dress off and Neil was bare chested.
Victor tells Ashley that Adam's eyesight is definitely deteriorating, gets a call from the prison. Adam has been beaten up badly and he is getting taken to the infirmary.
Kevin and Clint watch TV of the security tape of the chipmunk robbery. Back at CL, Amber positively identifies the scarf she made for Kevin on chipmunk robber, then Daniel pipes up that that IS definitely Kevin himself in that video.
Kay stops Nikki, talks about Mexico, how Nikki was so drunk, etc. Niiki at first is unresponsive, Kay continues, glimmer of recognition from Nikki, then huge embrace!!! OMG, finally! Sheesh.
