Hey there.... How is everyone doing? I lost the link, and Carolyn was kind enough to send me an email, with the link, so here I am.
Things have been odd for me. I had surgery on February 2nd, and I am back to my old self these days. Work has been going at a nice normal pace, and I will be converting over to full-time, from my contractor status of the last 1.5 years.
I need to find the motivation to get moving in a few minutes. I have a hair and nails appointment later on this morning, in Boston, so I really need to start moving. After the appointments I will be conducting a home visit for a dog rescue group that I have become quite active with.
I had another dog join me here at the house last December. I now have three of them here. I know that three sounds excessive, but they are really amazing, and they all just adore each other. There was a significant energy difference between Tess (my senior German Shepard), and Dorie (my two year old Sato). Poor Dorie needed a playmate, so that is when Pilgrim (a German Shepard mix) joined us. He has been magical here. He and Dorie are forever playing out in the yard, and they even have Tess running around with them. I have a huge fenced in back yard.
Three weeks ago, a dog trainer began working with me, and my crew, and I had some pretty amazing moments. Prior to the trainer joining us, it was like a bad comedy watching me try to walk the three of them together. It was complete chaos. Now we are out, walking in a calm manner, with me holding the three leashes in one hand, and the leashes are lose. A lose leash means that the dogs are following the human, not walking the human by tugging. It is so wonderful. We are going to start on agility training tomorrow.
Anyway, life is very good, balanced and busy these days. Thank goodness. How is everyone doing? I saw Shelly's pregnancy picture, you look GREAT! My goodness, I did not even know that you are pregnant. It really has been way to long, since I have caught up with everyone!
So glad to hear from you. I was just asking after you a few days ago. What kind of surgery did you have? Is the change from contractor to full time a good thing? Will the work be much different? Another puppy, that must be fun. As soon as my kiddos are all a little older I think we will get one. But for now we are just going to juggle the kids. Thank you for the compliment about the picture. I feel huge but have only gained about 25 pounds, and with twins that's pretty good.
Hope you have a nice relaxing day getting your hair and your nails done...You have been missed around here.
Jim has started Twittering! As you probably know, all tweets have to be 140 characters or less, so Jim has made it his personal challenge to hit exactly 140 each time. Just because...
Here's what he Twittered this morning:
All the angst of the week just past/will not linger, will not last/the equinox of yesterday/bids AIG to go away/but leave/your stash/of cash
LOL!!! It's beginning to turn into a competition between Jim and our oldest daughter as to who can come up with the most creative tweet. I just know that I'm going to get sucked into this, sooner or later.

Okay, I'll bite too. I know that my kids use twitter but I've not asked HOW one does this. Can you tell how to get started please, Moore. Does it use e mail or some other gizmo like cell phone text messages? (Apologies if this is a really dumb question.) Also, what's the point of twittering anyway? Is it a more economical mode of communication?
You can use both your cell phone and your computer to post your tweets.
As far as I can tell, it's a combination of text messaging and face book in that you're writing brief messages to your friends, and your contacts list can expand rapidly by "following" others' contacts.
You can even follow celebrities, such as Martha Stewart, etc., although they're probably not following you! I think Martha Stewart has something like 96,000 followers, and she's obviously not going to be reading all of their stuff in return, but you can read her tweets. Or anyone else's who interests you.
Jim has signed up with a number of news commentators like George Stephanopoulos, and others. It's intriguing... I know that Cady McClain (former Dixie on AMC) Twitters.
Kelly Ripa posted a tweet this morning asking if anyone knew where to buy a bracelet with a cupcake theme for her daughter Lola, who wants one. Someone Twittered back with a url, and Kelly replied that it was exactly what she was looking for!
Jim has already connected to a lot of interesting people.

I have heard of twittering but I do myspace on occasion and facebook. That is enough for me. Well for now anyways.
Just got back from wondering around the mall and now think that that is an activity that has been added to my list of things NOT to do until these kids are born. I am tired.
