It's a beautiful day here, and I think I've finally recovered from our quick turnaround trip to North Carolina this past weekend. It was well worth it! The play was fantastic, and we all laughed until we had no voices left. I'm too lazy to write everything all over again, so I'm going to cut-and-paste an email that I sent to Lizincinti on Sunday morning:
---------
Loren and the play were just plain awesome last night, and I hardly have any voice left this morning from laughing so hard! Loren was exhausted last night (it's a very physical play with a small cast), and he has both a matinee performance this afternoon, and the closing performance tonight. There was also another character who could very well have been played by Danny DeVito, and that's all Jim and I could think of while we watched. Loren, who played Max, even had to sing a little opera, and in Italian, so he had more to learn than normal dialogue. And timing was everything because it was a quick-paced comedy. Anyway, it was hilarious, and well worth the quick trip down here to see Loren's performance. [Our daughter] of course, is very proud of him!

I asked Loren when they might be posting pictures of the play to their website, but he doesn't know. I'll keep checking and let you guys know when they're up.
Arizona-daughter called last night to say that she's going to come home for about ten days at the end of May, so that was very good news!
I'm posting a couple of pictures that Jim took of our neighbor's wisteria. Our azaleas are beginning to bloom, but still have a way to go... Hope everyone has a great day today!

It's cold and pouring rain today, really raw and bleak. Yicky day. Mike and Maya are here, not sure why, but they are, let themselves in at 11. I think Mike is using the internet. I thought I had the day alone. OH! Maya has that job interview today as general manager of a large hostel down on Church Street. Good luck, Maya!! She's worried that because her second language is German and not French, she won't get the job, but since there are more German tourists than French here, you'd think that would be an advantage. We shall see.
I did 3 loads of laundry. Then I went line dancing. After that I had to check on the apartment. We overlapped 3 months from buying our house here in Texas.
Moore that is great news about AZ-D going home for a few days. That will be nice. You get to see her but she gets to do the traveling. Perfect solution to me.
Kae, how did the interview go? I hope it was good.
