This place has been so quiet. What has everyone been up to lately? I just made an appointment to get a physical done for Jolene because I have to register her for kindergarten. How scary.
This afternoon will be a busy one, but not until after 2. I have to go buy some new halogen bullet light fixtures for Nick's bedroom, check up on parents (they are an awful handful now), then my friend Christine is coming for dinner. Ted's away again for a few days for work stuff.
Last night I decided to stay up and check out Conan on the Tonight show but I fell asleep on the sofa, lol. When I got up to crawl into bed, Chloe was under the covers, a big no-no, but I was asleep and daddy was gone, so she helped herself, the naughty poodle. But the nice thing was that the bed was all warmed up, so I didn't reprimand her.
Shelly, is it the kindergarten for Jojo or the doctor appointment that has you concerned? She'll be 5 this autumn, non?
Ah, yeah. They grow up SO fast. Just wait until she wants to wear lipstick and high heels. Not having ever had a daughter, I can only imagine. My guys went from being adorable little sweeties to strapping young men in a flash.
Yeah, I don't look forward to that at all...and poor Vinnie, by the time the twins are teens he will be long out of the Navy and won't be able to escape the hormones.

It's VERY true about monthlies synch-ing up. It happened to me all the time whenever I'd spend a lot of time with a girlfriend and even when we weren't together physically, just yammering on the phone. It's not a myth at all. It really does happen!

What is everyone else up to today
I got my oil changed on my SUV this morning. Then did some shopping. I taught swimming all afternoon. My husband and I made dinner together. Then we went out and bought some tomato plants and marigold plants. On the way home we stopped at Sonic and got the free rootbeer floats they were giving away. It was very nice. All we had to do was drive in and they served us at our car. They were walking around with trays offering the treat to the people!
