Jack's at the ranch amid a bad thunderstorm to see his sister. She's in bed, hears Sabrina's voice calling her name. So Ashley gets out of bed and into the hall, sees a veiled figure, snatches off the veil and it is Sabrina growling at her to stay away from Victor, he is hers. Ashley screams loudly, Jack runs up the stairs leaving Adam alone in the living room.
Phyllis's old penthouse - new tenants, Jeff and Gloria with no electricity - it was shut off for non payment, lol. Jeff's PI calls - Victor's away on business, MJ's at the club, so Jeff and Gloria take off for there. MJ sees Sharon ay GCAC, tells her to back off Jack.
Nick, without saying much, lets Phyllis know he has chosen Sharon. GOOD PHYLLIS!!!! She tells him she hasn't any tears left and if she did she wouldn't waste them on him. YAY Phyllis!!
MJ gives Sharon a piece of her mind, argument ensues, scuffles, along comes Nikki and hears MJ tell Sharon that for once in her life, let Jack go, the baby probably isn't even his.

Nick's an ass. Gah. Phyllis gets it that he's leaving her so he can be available for Sharon so she (Sharon) won't feel guilty for breaking up their marriage. Dumb jerk Nick admits it. Duh.
Ashley's an emotional mess, tries to explain to Jack about her encounter with Sabrina. Adam listens in. Jack keeps reassuring her that it was just a dream.
Good Michelle Stafford scene as she talks to Nick about how she held on, believing they had it all. Bloody Nick. Ack. Oh boy, he infuriates her, she breaks down, screams, pulls herself together, tells him to get out, go to his history with Sharon because that's where he's going to end up anyway.
Jeff sidles up to a bar stool beside MJ, introduces himself. Nikki talks to Sharon about her baby's paternity. Sharon leaves, fed up with all the judgemental questions and reactions, Gloria plops down beside Nikki. Funny Nikki!
Ashley and Jack argue as he wants her to move in with him until Victor comes back. Adam comes in as Jack packs a bag for Ashley, says "you can't do that Jack".
Nick gets ready to leave for a room at the club. Phyllis wants nothing from him but he can see his daughter any time, she just won't be there too.
Jeff tries to chat up MJ, she dismisses him, not her type. Funny Jeff. Nikki asks Gloria why Jeff was trying to schmooze with MJ. Funny scene again. Huge thunderstorm outside.
Jack leaves Ashley at the ranch as he gets an emergency phone call. Before he leaves he grabs Adam, says if anything happens to his sister he will be held responsible. Adam sends the maid home, even though Victor had ordered her to stay overnight. As she leaves, more thunderclaps, loss of power, Adam says he couldn't have asked for a better night.
MJ calls Phyllis and gets her voice mail, dammit she really needs to talk to her. Paul knocks on her door to check on her after what happened downstairs. Paul recognises that she sounds like someone who has been hurt before and he has a feeling he ought to care about what happens to her. Funny Jeff sees Paul leave MJ's room, chuckles, says this just gets better and better.
Jack arrives at the tack house (his emergency call, no doubt) and he and Phyllis hug. She tells him Nick has left for good this time. Her phone rings, she ignores it. She tells him Nick has left her and Summer for Sharon. Poor Jackie!! He gets it that he and Sharon are going to be over.
Sharon runs into Nick checking into his room at GCAC. She explains that she still has her room there and she has too much on her mind to be at Jack's right now. He tells her he has left Phyllis, asks her in. Sure. MJ sees her enter Nick's suite.
Argh, Nick blithers on to Sharon about why he left Phyllis, not fully committed to that marriage, how he wants "us, wants it all back". Too much of him still devoted to her (Sharon). She resists at first, then kiss, a long one.
Jack and Phyllis talk about how they were both in denial about their respective relationships with Sharon and Nick. One thing leads to another and Jack kisses her, as they fall back on the sofa together.
Paul joins Nikki at their table at GCAC, who tells him there's no power at the ranch. She'll drive over there to check on Victoria and the kids, meet him at home.
Silly Jeff and Gloria chuckle about Paul sleeping with Victor's mistress.
Ashley is awakened by a ghostly voice calling her name "death is coming, there is no mistake". She goes down the hall and sees a figure shrouded in that veil, softly saying her name. She grabs the veil again and sees Sabrina's face but it's actually Adam this time, and she stumbles, falling down the stairs.
Flash over to Nick and Sharon in the "afterglow". MJ stands outside the tack house living room window looking in at Jack and Phyllis getting very busy on the sofa. She's devastated.
Adam rushes to Ashley's unconscious body as Nikki knocks on the door. "Ashley, are you there?".
Next:
Jack tied up with and with a blindfold on, says "This is blind man's bluff, right?" MJ stands over him with a pair of scissors, says "shhhhh".
Ashley to Adam that it was real, not a dream. "What have you done to me?"
Sharon, to Nick, that she has never loved anyone the way she loves him. He loves her too. They are both wearing white terry bath robes.

There was a nice balance between the drama and the humour. That Jeff is priceless. I LOVE the way he and Gloria jump to all the wrong conclusions, then congratulate themselves for being so clever.
