Jill and Cane yap about Katherine, grudges and all and can she forgive? Jill and Kay love one another and if she wanted, she could turn this around. Cane's having serious guilt over completely conning both Jill and Katherine (as seen on his face).
Lily and Nina apologise to each other for arguing and upsetting Katherine. They call a truce. Nina gets a call, the lab results are in.
Jack sees that MJ is upset, she could use a friend right now but jack has to meet with Sharon.
Nick, Phyllis, Victor and Nikki stand watch over comatose Summer.
Paul meets Heather in the hospital hall and she tells him Summer's accident may not have been an accident after all, according to her anonymous source. Paul doesn't believe it.
MJ recalls getting caught by both Jack and Paul on her secret identity. She looks at her old wedding invitation when she and Jack were married. (Confirmation that she IS Patty Williams, as if we needed it, lol.) "Happy anniversary Jack."
Phyllis and Nick bond over Summer. He tells her SHE is the glue that keeps this family together and he hugs her.
Paul visits MJ to ask her about odd rumours he's heard about Phyllis Newman. She freaks out, slams the door, asks Kitty where her pills are. She's a mess. Sob, sob, make it stop, make it stop.
Noah visits Sharon all upset about Summer. Hugs and comforting words. Then she breaks the news to him that Jack is the father of her baby but she doesn't know what this means about the new house with Nick. He has to focus on Summer right now.
Victor finds Nick in the chapel (busy room lately eh?). He's in tears, why is this happening again. Also in tears about Jack fathering Sharon's baby. Victor leaves, enter Jack. Good Jack scene, and JM isn't half bad either.
Kay and Murphy arrive back home and Nina has the DNA results.
Cane and Jill, over coffee at CL, talk about how bonded they are, blah, blah. Lily enters, plops the results on the table. Cane picks it up and fingers it. Yep. Cane is Jill's son. so says the report. Hugs all around. She wants him to reconsider now taking the Chancellor name. Lily goes off, Cane calls Langley, leaves message he has taken care of this, just the way he (Langely) wanted.
Meanwhile, Nina has a fit over the results, says she doesn't believe it. She tells Murphy and Kay that one person is unaccounted for the night of Phillip's accident, the cop that rode in the car with him. He vanished that night. Murphy asks if she thinks there was some sort of a pay-off and Nina says YES!
MJ has a dream. She's in a wedding dress and her cat is alive. She says she saw Jack in his office having sex with that woman and she (MJ) is pregnant with his baby. She falls down, says "Oh no, not my baby". (Didn't Andrea Evans play Patty Williams back then? I think so.) She goes on to say that Jack only married her so he could be president of Jabot, then shoots him, point blank. (Definitive confirmation that Mary Jane is Paul's sister. *sigh*)
Paul warns Nikki that Heather has info that Phyllis maybe did this to Summer on purpose. He doesn't believe it and Nikki is horrified. (Could Heather be any more odious? Could MJ be any more criminally insane?)
Good Jack scene as he meets Sharon at his house. She has guilt written all over her face, says she's not ready to move in with him.
Victor comes into MJ's dream...ugh. Sharon, very pregnant does too who says MJ can never have Jack as she rubs her belly. MJ wakes up, swears she WILL have Jack, and all to herself.
Heather accuses Phyllis of poisoning Summer to get Nick's attention. Those bungling idiot cops and Heather haul Phyllis off. Victor calls Michael Baldwin. Heather and Gill tell Phyllis to go home, keep herself available for questioning. They place a guard on Summer's door and Phyllis isn't allowed anywhere near her. Ugh.
Jill gloats to Katherine about Cane's DNA results, Kay is furious with Jill for leaving her to die yesterday.
Nina is alone at Phillp II's grave wondering aloud why it is she can not accept that Cane is really Jill's son. Paul comes up to her and whispers that she may be right, that he is not. He just spoke to the lab that told him there was something wrong with Cane's blood test. (Chilling music.)

Mike tells Nikki and Victor that the county has temporary custody of Summer and the court will appoint a guardian. Nikki says "And our hands are tied?"
Billy and Mac are happy to be together in a suite at GCAC, chuckle about meeting secretly.
At the graveyard, Nina, with Paul behind her, yells at Cane (Lily is there too) "The blood, Cane, where did it come from? Where did it come from?"
