Jill, Kay, Nina, Murphy, Neil, Lily and all stand around asking Cane how he could do it when Philip 3 turns up and says HE did it. Kay collapses and Murphy calls out to phone 911. Jill is dumfounded but Nina says "No, this makes perfect sense". Philip says he came back to stop causing this guy (nods to Cane) any more pain. The ambulance arrives, Philip disappears.
Billy and Mac are on the bed but still clothed mostly. Phones ring, both Mac's ad Billy's. Esther called Mac about Kay's collapse. Chloe called Billy that Cane's a fraud and Kay's in the hospital. (No love-making for those two today, lol.)
Kay had a mild stroke. Jill, Nina and Murphy fill in Olivia on the latest drama with Cane and Philip. Olivia scoots off as Murphy spies Philip outside Kay's room, tells him to leave Katherine alone for now but he has a lot to answer for, calls Nina to get there asap.
Back at the Chancellor's everyone gangs up on Cane. Lily says she wants to hear what he has to say.
Nina arrives at the hospital, Kay screams everybody come into her room now, she needs to get this sorted out. Philip starts to explain how he WAS in the hospital, he did lose consciousness, his monitor DID flat line but the next day he left for Australia and began a new life.
Back at Kay's Cane tells how his real name is Ethan Ashby but he lost both his parents and grew up on the streets of Australia. (Billy's there now too.) Cane tells how Philip has gone by the name "Langley" for many years now. He talks about how lonely he was as a child, how he didn't believe he was worthy of love....
Meanwhile, Philip talks about how he met Cane and hired him. He came up with the plan to make amends for disappearing, make everyone happy by sending Cane as him, the long lost son. He made it all work, too, that is until now.
Lily rejects Cane's efforts to get her to believe that he loves her. She yells at him in another one of her indignant snits.
Neil pushes Cane around warns him to stay away from Lily, then grabs his daughter's arm and they leave. Billy socks Cane, says that's from all of them.
Mac muses to Murphy that Billy was right not to have trusted Cane, as it turns out.
Kay doesn't buy Philip's story, nor does Jill, but Nina does believe that the man there is for real. Philip tells them all that the accident he "died" in was no accident.
Olivia confirms that Kay had a mild stroke and she needs to stay there a few days.
Philip goes on to talk about how much pressure he was under at Jabot (?) and knew he had to get out of there, felt panic, no way out, was married to woman his mother despised, he just couldn't do it any more. He drove off the road and suddenly he felt at peace. When he woke up in the hospital he started to make plans, paid off the cop and someone else on staff that needed financial help.
Kay's pissed off, as is Jill. Nina asks how he could walk away from his own son.
Devon arrives at Neil's, sees Lily on the sofa, sobbing.
Billy and Chloe tear strips off of Cane especially when he admits that he knew he wasn't Delia's father but he couldn't chance having two sets of DNA on record at the lab. Esther chimes in. Billy yells at him to get out of this family's house.
Lily says she's an idiot, been deluding herself all this time.
Cane's back at his house now. Devon lets himself in with suitcases to get Lily's things, takes verbal shots at him.
Mac arrives at Kay's house, tells Chloe, Billy and Esther about Kay's stroke and that Philip is still talking to Kay, Nina and Jill.
Nina is furious with Philip. He makes a good point that he had already started to resent all of them and he left FOR his son's sake. Jill sort of understands that.
Mac watches Billy with Chloe and Delia in a happy family scene, guilt creeps over her.
Devon is back at Neil's with Humphrey and about 1/10 of Lily's clothes. She cuddles the pooch.
Back at the hospital, Nina points out to Kay and Jill that here they are again, after all these years, in a hospital room filled with rage and guilt. (Philip just left.)
Cane meets Philip in the hospital corridor, asks him what the hell he is doing there (in GC, I presume).

Phyllis slaps Heather when Heather says they can get her help. They know she didn't mean to hurt Summer, so if she would just confess... slap. Michael is there.
Kay, in her hospital bed, mumbles to Jill that if ??? treats her this way, she doesn't think she can get past it.
Sheesh! Lots of information in one little episode today. It's a NO- MISS one, that's for sure.
