I was kind of surprised to come in here and find out that no one has posted about this yet. Anyone have thoughts? Its really rather sad, the Kennedy family is really rather gone now. Not many left.
Yes it is very sad. I am surprised that this legacy has really come to an end. I was listening to the radio and they were talking about all of this and how if JFK had not been killed, the precedent for Presidents may be completely different.
Edward Kennedy has been ill for a long time. So, his death did not come as a big surprise. He was 77 years old and has a good life. Meanwhile, he is no way near ready to be canonized.
My faather-in-law also passed away from brain cancer at age 61 thirty-one years ago.
