I got my computer back, semi-fixed with a lobotomy. There's a new logic board and hard drive on order. It's much better now but still a bit wonky.
We're in for another big rain later on today. I've got an appointment today for "the works" at the spa and no car, AGAIN. Thank heavens for taxis and those vouchers I gave my parents at Christmas.
I almost commented on Ted Kennedy's passing in that thread, but again, as a Canadian, any remarks I make might be construed as anti-American, and I'd never want to tick anyone off. We have quite the jaundiced view of American "royalty" up here, and as sad as it was for the world to lose another shining star, it's life, and as Sundancer said, he had a good one.
I'm gearing up for our annual Labour Day picnic again. This year there will be about 25 of us. It's pot luck except for the meats that we cook here and everyone else brings salads and befores. Christine is bring the cake.
