My husband flew in this past Friday. Tomorrow is his birthday. My daughter, son-in-law, and their two children will be coming in from Charlotte. Its my daughter's 20th highschool reunion. Next week we are heading south in a meandering way.

Thanks, Moore and Kae. The trip is about 1450 miles one way. I just drove that alone last June going north. I love my GPS! Here is one more picture of Monica, Greg, Melissa, and Trevor at an ice skating rink:
Just be safe, Sundancer... A GPS can definitely add that extra bit of confidence during a drive, even if you're familiar with the route. You never know when you might need to take a detour.

Well, we made it here last Friday evening. It feels funny when I leave "home" in the north and arrive at "home" in the south. We drove a 26-foot Penske truck with a trailer on the back with my Jeep Laredo on it. Those trucks are not kind the the bottom! Saturday night our square dance club hosted a spaghetti dinner/dance. Fellow members all welcomed me back. It was a good feeling. There were four callers and a cuer. The four callers also did a quartet concert for half an hour at the end. It was a very pleasant evening. Does any here square dance? We dancing again tonight.

Welcome home! I'm glad to know that you're back safely, with no problems on the road.
Sundancer, I haven't done any square dancing in many years. It was something that we used to do in grade school, and sometimes in middle school, and of course The Virginia Reel was rather popular here in, well, Virginia! LOL. I loved square dancing! It's really great fun, but I have no idea where anyone does it around here...

Moore, here is a link that will put you in the right direction (I think): http://www.vasquaredance.com/SEPTEMBER.html The neat thing about square dancing is that it makes everyone smile!
