Téa informs Matthew that Judge Henson has reached a verdict in his case on Monday, September 21. Later in court, Matthew is awarded the power to decide for himself whether or not he wants to go through with the surgery. Matthew isnt moved by Noras heartfelt plea, and elects to schedule the surgery as soon as possible. Heartbroken, Nora breaks down in Bos open arms. Matthew realizes that his fathers reservations about his surgery are out of fear of losing him like he lost Drew. Greg conjures up an image of Shaun who blasts him for wanting to play the hero. Matthews heart goes out to Destiny. After finding Greg at Shauns bedside, Rachel tells him that what happened was an accident. Cristian and Layla feel for Fish when his parents disown him on Tuesday, September 22. Fish tells Kyle why he finally decided to come out. Marty encounters Fishs father George, whom she urges to be more accepting of his son. Kyle stands up to George, claiming that he and Fish deeply cared for one another. As he prepares to leave Llanview on Wednesday, September 23, George tells Oliver that, while he doesnt agree with his lifestyle, he still loves him nonetheless. Markko stands his ground with his father Ernesto, who attempts to make peace with his son. John becomes suspicious after questioning Jared about his attacker. Natalie is enraged upon learning that John suspects that Jared is hiding something. Both Jessica and Natalie dismiss Johns claims. Charlie is proud of how far he and Jared have traveled on the road to redemption. Jared pumps Brody for information on Johns investigation of Jessicas stalker on Friday, September 25. And John has no problem with Fishs alternative lifestyle.

The Inside Story: A Dangerous Obsession
On Monday, September 21, Todd is successful in his attempt to persuade Téa that he only wants to be with her. As Blair eavesdrops, the lovebirds opt to get married sooner rather than later. Blair claims to Ross that she did not enjoy their recent kiss. By Wednesday, September 23, Téa confesses to Viki that she has kept Todd in the dark about a relationship she had before returning to Llanview last December. Reminding her that secrets always seem to have a way of coming out, Viki urges her to tell Todd the truth before the wedding. As Blair looks forward to what is to come, Téa tells Todd that there is something he doesnt know. Dorian wants Blair to get past her infatuation with Todd once and for all. Téa informs Todd that she was once involved with Ross on Thursday, September 24, but is interrupted before she can reveal that they were married. Meanwhile, Dorian tempts Ross with money to keep Blair away from Todd and Téas wedding. Although enticed by her offer, Ross ultimately turns her down. By Friday, September 25, Blair is anxious to execute her plan, however Ross has his doubts. Cristian asks Layla to go to the wedding as his friend.

A Closer Look: Its All in the Timing
Gigi confesses to Schuyler that she is jealous of Stacy and the baby. Rex listens as Gigi reveals her fears that she and Rex may not have a future together after all on Monday, September 21. Shocked by what he hears, Rex promptly pops the question. Across town, Stacy reconsiders soldiering on with the pregnancy, stating to Kim that there is no guarantee that Rex will leave Gigi for her. Meanwhile, Gigi realizes on Tuesday, September 22, that Rex overheard her talking to Schuyler. Considering his proposal a bad omen by claiming it was made for all the wrong reasons, Gigi tells Rex she wants to postpone getting married until the time is right. Stacy has renewed hope after witnessing Rex and Gigis argument.
