Nick and Amelia defend their actions to Fish by stating that, if it results in same sex marriage being legalized, then it will all have been worth it. Natalie nudges Marty to ask John to cool it as far as Jared is concerned. Natalie is enraged when John suggests she beginning to have doubts about Jareds innocence on Tuesday, October 13. Madame Delphina warns Jessica and Brody that Nash is still trying to tell her about something, and that the person responsible for murdering Wayne Landers will strike again. Natalie is shell-shocked when Jared confides in her that did know Jessicas stalker after all on Wednesday, October 14. After making another confession to Natalie, Jared receives a cryptic text message warning him to keep his mouth shut. Soon thereafter, he receives yet another message, this time instructing him to go the Buchanan Lodge. Meanwhile, Brody is adamant that Jessica and Bree move in with him so he can protect them. While packing the items in Jessicas closet, they make a surprising discovery. John asks Natalie to unburden herself to him by confessing what Jared told her. By Friday, October 16, Natalie tells all to John, Brody, and Jessica, and heads for the lodge, sure she will find Jared there waiting for her. Kim stirs the pot by claiming that Gigi is jealous of her relationship with Schuyler. Rex and Gigi argue over her friendship with Mr. J, but quickly make up. Figuring out what they are plotting, Schuyler refuses to play Stacy and Kims mind games, even though he secretly considers helping them. And Blair is taken aback upon learning that her aunt Dorian is planning to marry another woman.
The Inside Story: They Say the Mind is the First to Go
Téa is thankful to learn that Blair is unable to recall the events leading up to her tumble out the window at La Boulaie on Monday, October 12. Dorian weighs in on her nieces condition, stating that her memory may return at any time or not at all. Meanwhile, Todd pulls Téa aside and demands tell him what Blair claimed she wanted him to know. Back at Todds house, Moe catches Ross read-handed when he attempts to make off with the suitcase belonging to Téa. Fish is called to scene and promptly hauls Ross downtown. On Tuesday, October 13, Téa fires back at Todd, insinuating that he is always looking for a way to be in Blairs corner. Todd informs Téa that he was going to tell her that he still loved her. However, when she asks if he still feels that way given their latest argument, he responds in the negative and claims that she could never be a mother to his children. Handcuffed at the police station, Ross reveals to Elijah that he needs to gain possession of Téas briefcase. Things go from bad to worse for Ross when, after learning that Elijah was unsuccessful in getting the charges dropped, the washed up surfer attempts to escape. Finally tracking him down at Blairs bedside, Fish has had enough of Ross shenanigans. At the same time, Elijah discovers that the briefcase has been brought in to the station as evidence. By Wednesday, October 14, a stunned Blair watches as Ross is tasered by Fish, and taken back to jail, where Elijah encounters trouble while attempting to make off with the case. Meanwhile, Blair feels the urge to tell Todd something, even though she cannot recall exactly what it is. Téa retrieves her belongings from Todds, and confides to Jack that she would never intentionally harm his mother. Unable to locate her briefcase, Téa goes into panic mode when Jack tells her what happened earlier in the evening. On his way to a holding cell, Ross orders Elijah to follow Téa, who arrives to reclaim her property. Todd dodges Jacks questions concerning Téa. Blair awakens from a nightmare to find Todd staring at her on Friday, October 16. Jack pays his mother a visit. Blair asks Todd if he will help her jog her memory. And Téa is wise to Elijahs ruse to make off with her briefcase.
A Closer Look: Broken Legs, Broken Dreams
Greg confesses to Matthew and his family that Dr. Nance has a lower success rate than he does. Despite Rachels emotional plea that he reconsider, Greg refuses to operate on Matthew on Monday, October 12. Bo and Nora offer to fly Matthew to Seattle for his surgery on the BE company jet. Later, while on route to meet with Dr. Nance, Matthew is unaware that his parents have another destination in mind. Shaun comes out of his coma just as Destiny is confessing her feelings for Matthew to her big brother on Thursday, October 15. Meanwhile, Greg and Rachel are drawn into a steamy kiss. As things continue to heat up between them, the pair are inches away from having sex when they learn that Shaun is awake and alert. And on Friday, October 16, Matthew is furious to learn that they are now headed for London, and that he will no longer be having his surgery.
