Staying signed in.

Is anyone else having to log in again, each time you visit here lately? For some reason, I'm no longer being "remembered", even though I've made certain that box is checked each time I've been required to log in again...

Most of the time I am logged in automatically. Ocassionally I do have to type in my user name and password.

Most of the time it's that your browser clears it's cookies/cache at the end of each session. Which web browser are you using?

Brandon, I use AOL, but I never had to re-enter my usernames or passwords on my old computer. Now that I have a new one, I'm guessing that it's behaving more efficiently than my older piece of *** did, and is doing exactly what you suggested: it's constantly clearing my cookies.

This, however, is annoying! Is there anything that I can do to keep myself signed in on those sites where I normally visit?

I don't generally use AOL so I'm not sure where the menu would be but most of the time there's some sort of area where you can select for it not to remove cookies on exit, etc.

Thank you for your help and advice, Brandon!

I explored my new computer a little more (I'm still getting used to it), and found a location in the Control Panel where I can allow specific sites to place cookies on my computer. It seems to be working, because I was automatically signed in yesterday, and again today. YAY!
