I actually enjoyed last night's show (loved that crab costume from Cirque du Soleil), but I missed seeing clips for each of the actors and shows that were competing.
Dick Clark had me in tears, when he began to cry.
You're right about the canceled shows, though. I'm not sure it's worth the risk, though, for shows to get themselves canceled, in the hopes of winning an Emmy!
I loved seeing so much of Susan Lucci last night. She's such a lady, so gracious, and such a good sport. And SO beautiful...

I caught just a few minutes of the show last night. Agnes Nixon was on stage accepting an award and Ted said "she looks scary" and flipped it back to another channel. La Lucci was at her best, though, very gracious.
I think Ted's comment was about AN's intensive cosmetic surgeries that left her looking rather other-worldly, but I didn't ask. I must say, however, that the guy from B&B with the pointy jaw bones and the "arty" scarf is ever much scarier looking, lol.
Jim and I both thought that the buy from B&B was scary looking! I thought Agnes Nixon looked very lady-like, although a bit frail... Susan Lucci, as always, was gracious and beautiful.
I didn't see Dan in the crowd, but I do know that he was there. Hopefully, he'll write an article or two about the event!
