Man this last week was drama! Just multiple things going on around the apartment complex and some of the residents due to alcohol.
Monday, we of course had the girl and her drama that I reported earlier.
Later on Thursday, we had a guy who was drunk and being an ass to his girlfriend argue and spill their beer into another guy's open window. This same couple had an issue with each other when I walked by into the complex earlier that day. Ugh, just horrible. And ladies, she's back with the same guy that caused her to scream like a firework because of his jackassery.
Saturday arrives and we find the old guy that drinks a lot had managed to slip on something some how and cracked his skull open. He was ultimately taken to the hospital and hasn't been back yet. This guy is basically a walking beer keg, so these things happen to him. This one was just bad, lot of blood. Our maintenance guy and a guy that cleans carpets took care of all that.
Later that night, apparently one of the guys that lives in the building went to a bar with a friend and there was an altercation. There's varying reports on what exactly occurred but ultimately it seems as if our "neighbor" was getting beaten up and his friend couldn't pull this guy off him. So he stabbed him. I'll give you a guess... that's right the stab wound killed the guy. So the friend is now being held on suspicion of first degree murder and our "neighbor" apparently was all bruised up and beaten and is hanging out at his mom's somewhere else in the city. Can't blame him.
So yeah, what's the recurring theme here? The alcohol. People really can't seem to get their crap together on that. I know for every moron out there, there's hundreds that handle it responsibility and don't go excessive but apparently none of those hundreds decided to clue these 4-5 idiots in on how you do all that.

Have you considered finding another place to live, Brandon? It seems as though there may be a little TOO MUCH drama going on there!
Using alcohol to an extreme certainly doesn't help when people have little control to begin with, because of underlying anger issues or whatever else. If they know they have these issues, but still won't avoid the alcohol, then they've clearly crossed over to a point where they need some help. It's too bad that the "friend" didn't realize this before someone had to die. What a nightmare!

Maybe you'll have a really cold winter, and it'll keep all the drunks inside! Come spring, maybe you can look at some other places. Your current one seems to attract the crazies -- none of whom belong there in the first place!

Are any of these people normal without alcohol? Or would the world just never know because such a thing hasn't happened.
I am with everyone else. I am surprised that the owners aren't willing to let you out of a contract. I am sure you could sue for something. Just have to think of it.
