First of all, thanks for the forum Jess!

Now, it's getting close to January. Let's make our Superbowl predictions!!

The Colts and Chargers will play for the AFC title.--it'll be a tough game, and close, but I think Peyton will eek out a win.
And the Bears and either the Cowboys, Saints or Giants will play for the NFC title. I think the Bears will lose this game.

As far as the Superbowl goes It'll be the Colts vs. the Cowboys or Saints.

That was fun!! I probably sucked at it big time,but it was fun!!!

Hey, Jojo! I haven't the faintest idea about football, but just wanted to pop in to say hi. My husband watches that sort of stuff, but he's relegated to the basement for it. Hope your fave wins, though.

Thanks Kae! My faves are the Cowboys, but I can't see them really either winning the Super Bowl, or even the NFC title game. I can hope though!

I used towatch football in college, then I just let it go. But I've picked it back up this season. Normally I would be banished from the living room to watch it, but my mom likes it now too!

i dont know enough about that NFC and AFC crap to do any good predictions. I just hope for my husbands sake that the Bears make it far enough. I want New England to win again of course but dont think it will happen and dont really mind. I am with Tess when she said that Peyton deserves a ring

LOL, Okay. I remember. I was drunk with you! I believe I remember you trying to say hehehe in chat and it came out jehehe or something like that... It's okay...I was right there with that!

However, I'd reverse your pick, and actually go with the Saints over da Bears...I think Rex Grossman is too unpredictable. He panics and trys to get rid of the ball and like Susan said at E, it's either brilliant or disasterous. You can't have that in the playoffs.

Look at me. I just sounded all sports saavy...

I completely agree with you about Rex Grossman. I was also debating about that. I do like the Saints. I think that's why I was mistaken when I was drunk. But for some reason, I have a feeling that he'll pull it out when he needs to.

So, now that we are so close to the end...What are the predictions now. I am so glad that the Sea Chickens are out. I still want New England to win, but I dont want New England and the Bears to play at the Super Bowl, things would be way too tense at my house. And after watching the Bears take todays game back from Seattle, I think they have a good chance. So I dont know who I want them to play, but I want Chicago to go.
But New England better beat San Diego today....

Thoughts anyone

We've got six minutes left in the 4th quarter, and we're down by 8. I'm not feeling good about my Pat's potential.....

I'm biting the nails seriously now........

Although it was great when we went on the 4th, with five yards to go, were intecepted, and then recovered the fumble.....

There. I said it. Oh and by the way, this inane love for Tom Brady is retarded. He didn't do crap in that game except almost cost the Patriots the game twice but some how, some way, all the sports analysts out there seem to think Tom Brady did something wonderful to win the game. Ah no, Tom you did squat, if it wasn't for Troy Brown getting that fumble after the INTERCEPTION YOU THREW, then you'd be sitting your ass at home right now, wouldn't you?
