Ok..I agree with Jojo, things have been pretty boring around here lately. So I want to pose a question. What was your favorite story of 2006? To that extent can you name an exact moment that was your favorite? How about favorite characters/actors of last year? SOC is doing their dankies awards, maybe we can do something similar here.
For me, my favorite story would have to be the DID, even though I hated the child molestation used as the reason for her split. I wish they would have used something else. To that end I loved Bree's work last year and really hope that she at least gets nominated this year for an emmy.
My favorite moment, regarding the story above, was when Jess and Tess were talking to each other just before the integration was complete. I thought that was great.
I think there were really only 2 storylines that were quite memorable:
Spencer vs Todd
Jessica vs Tess
Truly, it all boils down to Todd being executed, being saved and now the embroiled battle with Spencer. Then the other major one was of course Jessica's DID. The best part of this storyline was really seeing Bree Williamson's ability to shift back and forth between the two so believably. Plus it got Viki some good screen time too. Each of them had their bad parts but those were the 2 storylines for 2006 for me.

My fave story of 2006 was the Tess and Nash love story and the birth of Brennan. I loved Tess and Nash (although I tired of Tess there for a bit), and I desperately want Jess and Nash together. My favorite moment was Hugh taking off his shirt. Teehee.
Todd execution, those days leading up to it, the event, and then the days right after were the only storyline that I can remember having to see. TSJ was incredible in those moments.
i did really like the DID sl & think it really highlighted bree's superb talents.
as for the reason for the splitting ~~~ sexual abuse is almost exlusively the reason for DID. i've actually known of one young adult who has it & i know a 12yo girl who is also dx'd. both come from homes w/sexual abuse being the primary abuse....but also have other horrendous abuses as well. honestly, i'd have been royally pissed if they had said it was something else.
i love the bo/rex connection......i really do. i wish they would give them a stronger SL together.
