Marty says a women never forgets a rape, does everyone agree with this
and why is she bringing it up to John, she barely knows him! Clips from '95 show her spending the night with Todd, discussing everything about the night of the rape and she seems to be really comfortable with him in her home, etc

Well it's kind of an odd situation with her Todd. She and him had a history and Todd's regret of the incident has been huge. It's not every day a rapist goes and tries to save the life of someone they raped and it's also every day the person raped goes on the stand to defend the rapist in a different criminal trial.
These definitely aren't normal circumstances. And of course the fact that she and Todd keep getting into each other's atmosphere doesn't help her forget either.

Well like I said I choose to forget things that happened to me. I pretend things never happened, never tell anyone what happened, etc. Marty likes to bring it up to everyone she meets. (Isn't john her patient, isn't it unprofessional for her to bring up her personal stuff)
martie saw john as a consultant.....he's not in treatment w/her & is unlikely to be so given his views of psychiatry/therapy.
never been raped, but i do believe it something no woman can forget.....tina, just b/c you choose to not discuss the things that hurt you (and that is most certainly your right) doesn't mean you have forgotten them. i have many painful things in my past. i don't talk about them all the time, nor do i think about them all the time, but every once in awhile something will trigger a memory.
it's abnormal for a rape victim to see/talk to their rapist on a daily basis. this is purely soapville crap. their children would not be entering into a relationship. this is a way for the writers to keep the tension between marty & todd alive.....and then they also get blair resentment thrown in ~~~ the more to make us puke. blair has no place in this equation IMO.
